Mindfulness
Every time we stop and look deeply, the result is a better understanding of the true nature of what there is inside us and around us.
Thich Nhat Hahn
Mindfulness is the act of bringing your mind to the present moment without judgement.
Most of our moments in life are spent either planning for the future or remembering the past, we are rarely in the present moment. Have you noticed that even when you are working towards a long sought after goal, once attained you immediately focus on a new goal? The practice of mindfulness engages the mind in a gentle practice of returning to the present moment of whatever experience we face right now whether pleasant or unpleasant.
When practiced mindfulness provides you more calm, gratitude, and happiness in your life. Your ability to deal with stress will increase and your body's health will become stronger and more resilient. It helps us to learn to see that what we experience other people also experience and it teaches us how to accept more openly the changes in each moment.
Each moment is precious, even every traffic jam, for how you spend each moment is how you will spend our life.
